I got to talk to Alistair Gill, SEO expert about doing SEO a bit differently, by integrating it into your every day marketing. I also have a little disclaimer; I know SEO is important and everyone gets into it, but I also feel like if it is something that is stressing you out, than maybe it shouldn’t be your focus right now, and that’s okay! That being said, this episode includes tones of useful information that anyone can take advantage of.

We also talk about Google’s algorithm, how Pinterest fits in all of this, and when is a good time to see results of what you do in your SEO.

I had so much fun recording this week’s episode with Juci of codeandglitter.com. She is a fellow VA and we had a bit of a rant about the things to look out for when hiring someone to be your go-to technical resource. This was interesting to hear specifically from a VAs point of view, because so many times we don’t think about what it must be like from their perspective.

We also went talked about red flags to look out for before actually letting someone touch your site, Japanese Porn (and how they relate to not protecting your site), and what tools to invest in when you are starting to see growth.

In Episode 2 with Amy, we talk about the feeling of Digital Overwhelm in our bodies and where we think it comes from. Even though we talk a lot about our experience in the corporate world, I feel in many cases this an apply to the entrepreneur world as well. Putting up rules about our online and offline time is key.
